Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is ready to leave it all on the pitch tonight for France against World Cup playoff opponents Ukraine.
Giroud says anger will drive him on in Paris tonight.
The 27-year-old told The Sun: "We are ready to die on the pitch in order to qualify for the finals.
"We want to show the people of France that we are proud to represent our country. I'm very optimistic about our chances. There is a lot of anger in me that I hope to transform into positive energy.
"I can't imagine France not taking part at the World Cup finals. After the first leg various important people who believe in the France team found the right words to get through to us.
"Coach Didier Deschamps and Noel Le Graet, the French FA president, spoke to us in ways that affected us deeply. The players discussed it among themselves as well - but now the time has come for the talking to stop.
"It is time to act. I am itching for the return game to get underway. I am hurt and I want to make amends - as do all my team-mates.
"We don't deserve to go to Brazil based on last Friday's performance. I hope we will on Tuesday night."
