Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva admits he could understand how he was injured last week.

"Really, it's nothing now for me to deal with these small injuries like hamstring or groin strains - I can understand them," the 26-year-old told the Arsenal Official Matchday Programme.

"I have plenty of experience of this now, having been out for so long, and I think I am experiencing these little problems because I didn't have a pre-season.

"But I'm calm about it and I'm feeling better with every day and every training session."
