According to The Times,Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom is attracting the interest of Championship clubs Brentford, Cardiff City and Fulham.

Arsenal decided to keep hold of promising youngster Akpom this summer but the striker has failed to make much of an impact for the Gunners first team after having his opportunities limited due to fierce competition for places, as well as injury problems.

As a result, it is widely expected that Akpom will be departing Arsenal on a loan basis during the current January transfer window and claims have been made that second tier trio Brentford, Cardiff and Fulham are all keen on signing the 21-year-old.
