Arsenal striker Chamakh happy to be withdrawn from frontline

Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh says he has no concerns with his form.

Chamakh insists his recent omission was made mutually with manager Arsene Wenger.

"The rest was an agreement we both reached," he told L'Equipe. "As the coach said, I played earlier this season so I was a little tired. That made sense, so I'm not worried.

"This has given me the opportunity to just relax. I now feel better and will soon be back in the squad."
