Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor says his goal against Villarreal was the best he's ever scored.

Adebayor said: "I don't think I've scored a better goal but I hope to score better than that.

"We all know how good Cesc is. As ]soon as he got the ball, the first thing he's got in his mind is to find the striker, and I'm always there. I'm very happy, delighted and he is as well.

"I wanted to chest the ball to go towards the keeper. But because I had already stopped and the way the ball was coming, I didn't have any chance to do that.

"When I chested the ball I saw where it was and I said to myself, 'You just have to take it'. And it went in."

Adebayor revealed he drew inspiration from a friend called Adamo Baba in Togo - a bicycle-kick expert.

He said: "Yes, I always practise that. I've got a good mate in Africa, Adamo. He's one of the best in this situation and once he scored three goals like this in one game.

"When the ball comes you only have one or two seconds to make a decision and I think I made the right decision. I'm very pleased."
