Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor is back on Barcelona's radar - for the summer of 2009.

The 24-year-old is being considered by the La Liga leaders, says Sport, along with Lyon's Karim Benzema and Valencia's David Villa.

Adebayor may be easiest to sign, but is still likely to cost in excess of £25million and the success of his international team may scupper a deal.

Barca are already set to lose Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o for about a month next year for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Similarly, Adebayor's Togo are also on track to qualify, which would leave Barca short of options.
