Arsenal still intend to replace Gazidis with new appointment

Arsenal are ready to seek a replacement for departing chief exec Ivan Gazidis.

The Daily Mail says they are now considering using a head-hunter agency as they look to replace Gazidis.

The immediate reaction at Arsenal was to promote Raul Sanllehi to a role as Head of Football and highly-rated Vinai Venkatesham from chief commercial officer to Managing Director.

There was a suggestion that Josh Kroenke could fill the role but it is feared he will be reluctant to relocate to London on a permanent basis.

That is why Arsenal could turn to head hunters for a new man.
