Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh is wanted by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
The Daily Star says Wenger is lining up a deal for Chamakh as a replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor.
Fulham have also been in talks with Bordeaux for the young forward.
