Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will make the most of his summer break.

Wilshere plans to take full advantage of the rest manager Arsene Wenger has insisted he so desperately needs.

He said: "I'm going to go away and get on a beach for a couple of weeks and then come back in pre-season rested and ready."

Wilshere will miss the U21 Euros for his beach plans.
