Arsenal winger Theo Walcott says he had no problems with William Gallas' captaincy.

Gallas was sacked as club skipper earlier this season, but Walcott says: "We have a lot of strong characters.

"William, since he's lost the captaincy, has been absolutely fantastic. I thought he was a brilliant captain anyway - we'll miss him now that he's out injured. Cesc [Fábregas] is going to be a fantastic captain. We've got loads of captains in that dressing room."
