SC Freiburg midfielder Maximilian Philipp has hinted that he would like to play in the Premier League one day in the future.
According to a recent report from Bild, North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on the 23-year-old.
The former Germany U21 international has scored seven goals and provided three assists for his side this season and says he would love to make his way to England before too long.
He told Bild: "Naturally every player – including me – has the dream to play in the Champions League one day.
"England was always my goal. I loved the football and the fans.
"But I think now the Bundesliga has overtaken the Premier League technically, and I can also imagine staying in Freiburg forever."
