Scott Loach says he will only leave Watford for a first team place.
The England U21 goalkeeper is a target for Arsenal and Tottenham.
But he says: "If I can play another 60-100 games here and then move on then I'll be in a much better position.
"Even if I was 24-25, I don't think I'd automatically get into Premier League sides. I'm confident I can go somewhere and break in somewhere, but it's all about games and I just want to keep learning and do something like Ben Foster.
"I'm in the Under-21s now, it's great to work with Stuart Pearce and see and learn from the keepers in front of me, but I've got a long way to go yet.
"But I'll just work hard and I'm confident I'll get to the top in the end.
"I see myself in the newspapers it brings a smile to my face as the Premier League is where I want to be. It's an honour to be linked with those clubs and, if that happens, then brilliant but it would also be brilliant staying here."
