Marouane Chamakh has asked Bordeaux to allow him to leave this summer.
The striker is wanted by Arsenal and Tottenham and revealed today: "I've expressed the wish to leave, I hope that the directors will be understanding.
"There remains for me one year on my contract and it is a good time for everyone to leave, so everyone will win."
