Arsenal, Spurs move for unsettled Bayern ace Toni

Arsenal and Tottenham are moving for Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni.

Toni is reported to be finding it hard to adapt to life in the Bundesliga and there are claims he longs for a return to Serie A, where he was a legend at Fiorentina, says the Daily Mail.

His aggressive style and ability to convert chances would make him a natural for the Premier League, however, and Spurs and Arsenal have been impressed with his success in Germany where he is the joint-top scorer.

Spurs boss Juande Ramos tried to sign the 30-year-old in the summer when he was in charge at Sevilla while Gunners manager Wenger believes Toni would provide the firepower needed to end the wait for silverware after a couple of barren seasons.
