Arsenal, Spurs aware Martins' Newcastle deal still has buyout clause

Obafemi Martins' Newcastle United contract still carries a buyout clause, it has been revealed.

The Evening Chronicle says the Nigeria striker has been unsettled on Tyneside ever since former manager Sam Allardyce tried to sell him last year.

And talk of his £13m release clause being removed didn’t come to fruition – something the likes of Arsenal and Spurs are very much aware of.
