The Premier League race for Barcelona fullback Daniel Alves is heating up. Off contract in June, Alves and his agent has been vocal about his wish to test himself in England in 2015.
The Times says Arsenal and Tottenham have joined Manchester United in the chase to sign Alves, who is free to commit to a pre-contract with any foreign club in June.
The Gunners are regarded as favourites for Alves, who is an admirer of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and their brand of football.
The defender would arrive to compete with Mathieu Debuchy at right-back.
