Barcelona have confirmed that Arsenal have bought another player from their youth academy. On Wednesday, the Spanish giants confirmed 16-year-old Jon Toral is set to follow the lead of Cesc Fabregas and join the Gunners next season.
Reports said the north London club paid £350,000 for the midfielder who was free to sign with any team.
Toral came through Barcelona's La Masia ranks like Fabregas and fellow prospect Fran Merida, who were both signed by Arsenal as teenagers.
Toral reportedly has roots in Britain, where his mother is from.
Ironically, the agent who engineered Toral's move is Pere Guardiola, brother of current Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.
