Arsenal skipper Van Persie will not dwell on spotkick miss

Arsenal skipper Robin van Persie says he won't hide after his spotkick miss in defeat at Manchester United.

Van Persie had a penalty saved by David De Gea with United 1-0 up - and Arsenal never recovered.

Speaking on Arsenal Player, he said: "I was quite confident before the penalty about which corner to go for but he saved it well.

"It was an OK penalty. It was a good save and those things happen. The best players miss and unfortunately it was my turn. It was a bit of a turning point because if that had gone in it's 1-1 and maybe it would be a different game. But, again, maybe and ifs, you never know."
