Robin van Persie has apologised to Arsenal fans after their Carling Cup final defeat to Birmingham City.
The Dutchman was skipper this afternoon, and apologised to the Arsenal fans after the team again failed to deliver on the big stage..
"I am very sorry that we could not bring CC [Carling Cup] back to north London," Van Persie tweeted.
"Thanks for your support today. Sorry again."
