Arsenal skipper Koscielny pleased with PSG point

Laurent Koscielny admits Arsenal's 1-1 draw with PSG was in the end a positive result for the club.

The Gunners fell behind inside the opening minute at Parc des Princes to Edinson Cavani's header before fighting back to secure a point from their first Champions League fixture of 2016/17 courtesy of a 78th-minute equaliser from Alexis Sanchez.

Stand-in captain Koscielny told BT Sport: "I think it's a good pint.

"But we came here with ambition and we wanted the 3 points. When you start like this (conceding early) it's difficult.

"We tried to play football and I think we played well. In the final third we didn't find the good early ball.

"We came back at 1-1 against PSG, a good team, so it's a good point."

Arsenal will now look ahead to their second Group A match against Swiss champions FC Basel at home on September 28.
