Arsenal signing Mesut Ozil insists he can handle the Premier League's physical demands.
Ozil left Real Madrid for Arsenal in a £42 million move last week.
"I look forward to playing in this league - I watched so many Premier League games," Ozil said.
"Of course, its very physical, it's a man's sport, and I want to prove myself in England. I also played in Bundesliga and Spain and proved myself."
He added: "I need the respect. I don't want to talk about Real Madrid, that topic is over. I will have many years here."
