Reports suggest that Arsenal will sign Fluminense striker Wellington in the New Year. The 15-year-old impressed the Gunners training staff after a recent 7 day trial in North London.

Fluminense's chairman ideally wants to keep the Brazil Under 16 international, yet the players parents are keen to secure a contract at The Emirates.

The deal is expected to go through towards the end of next month.
