Arsenal are set to complete the signing of American starlet Luis Gil according to a report on Arsenal's Young Guns website.

The 15-year old will become the latest US talent to sign with a European club, following Freddy Adu (Benfica) and Anton Peterlin (Everton).

The Gunners have been monitoring Gil for some time and began their pursuit of him in May when he was invited to train with the club.

It is believed that he will sign with the Arsenal Academy within a few weeks.
