Arsenal have set their asking price for Thomas Vermaelen.
The Sun says Vermaelen is refusing to discuss a new contract with Arsenal, who are holding out for a £10m fee to sell the Belgium defender.
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is keen to bring Vermaelen to Old Trafford, with the defender close to Reds striker Robin van Persie.
However, Barcelona are also keen and the Gunners would prefer to sell to a club abroad.
Both Barca and United have discussed terms with Arsenal, but neither club have indicated a willingness to go higher than £8 million for Vermaelen, who is inside the final year of his current deal.
