Arsenal and Barcelona have agreed a £15million fee for Alex Song.

The Catalan giants have been keen on the Cameroon midfielder for a while now and it appears as though a deal is set to be complete very soon.

Arsenal left Song out of today's scoreless draw with Sunderland and have now confirmed that he will undergo a medical early next week before the contract is finalised.

"Arsenal Football Club can confirm that terms have been agreed for the transfer of Alex Song to Barcelona," read the club's official website.

"Song will now travel to the Catalan club to agree personal terms and undergo a medical ahead of the proposed move."
