Arsenal seek new contract talks with Gibbs, Sagna

Arsenal are attempting to close new deals with two of their defenders.

Chief executive Ivan Gazidis and transfer chief Dick Law have ruled players will not be allowed to enter the final two years of their contracts without talks over new deals, says the Sunday Mirror.

The club are already working on such deals for Bacary Sagna and Kieran Gibbs, whose contracts are due to expire in 2014.
