Arsenal are in talks with an unnamed Russian club over the sale of Andrey Arshavin.

Anzhi and former club Zenit St Petersburg have been linked with the Russia captain this month.

Should Arsenal agree terms, Arshavin would still need some persuading to leave as he wants his children to qualify for UK passports before he returns home.
