Arsenal are ready to trump Manchester United for want-away Borussia Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa. The Sun says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to bolster his squad in the summer with at least one more attacking midfielder.

Kagawa, 23, will be available for a cut-price £5million as he has only one year left on his contract.

He is also reported to be a target for Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson after impressing against Arsenal in the Champions League earlier this season.
