Arsenal are stepping up their interest in West Ham United midfielder Momo Diame.
The Daily Mail says Arsenal scouts watched West Ham midfielder Diame, 25, against Manchester United last night.
Queens Park Rangers have already considered a move for Diame, who has a £3.5million release clause included in the contract he signed after joining the Hammers on a free transfer from Wigan last summer.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has long been an admirer and Rafa Benitez also likes the 25-year-old, a view reinforced by Diame's goal and game-changing appearance from the bench when West Ham beat Chelsea 3-1 in the Premier League last month.
