Montpellier fullback Mapou Yanga-M'Biwa is being tracked by Arsenal.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has had scouts check on the 22 year-old in recent games.
Yanga-M'Biwa can also play at centre-half and has over two years left on his current deal.
The youngster has spent his entire career at Montpellier.
