Team Great Britain head coach Stuart Pearce has not ruled Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere out of this summer's Olympic Games.
The 20-year old has not played a match this campaign because of an ankle injury sustained in pre-season but Pearce has indicated that he is still a chance for his 18-man Team GB squad.
"He's on the shortlist, that's for sure," Pearce said today.
And Pearce added that the final squad, to be selected from a shortlist of 80, will be picked at some stage around mid-May.
"We're looking to pick the squad, obviously we can't pick the squad before the European Championships squad is picked which is on May 10, so sometime possibly the week after that, sometime mid-May," he added.
