Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes the double sending off of Bacary Sagna and Manchester City's Pablo Zabaleta was a very harsh decision.
The pair clashed in a challenge, sliding into the sideline late in the 0-0 draw with Sagna reacting to Zabaleta's treatment by pushing his forehead against the Argentine's.
The pair went back and forth before referee Mike Jones intervened, producing a red for each player in what Wenger thought was a wrong decision.
"They looked harsh to me, for both of them. I would have to look at it again," the Frenchman said.
"I thought it was a foul for Sagna, and then they just bumped into each other's head. You can give it, you can not give it... I thought it could be yellow cards but unfortunately it was two reds."
City boss Roberto Mancini agreed: "For me it's not a sending off. For me, two yellow cards was enough."
