Arsenal's Wenger open to Germany managerial role

Arsene Wenger has made it clear that he would never manage elsewhere in England if he was not working at Arsenal.

The 64-year old Frenchman is expected to sign a new deal with the Gunners this summer but admits he has thought about his options if his time in north London were to come to an end.

"If I were to go somewhere then I think it would be in a different country because I am so much Arsenal that I would not like to coach anywhere else in England," he told BeIN Sports.

"Germany [is an option] because I am of German culture a little bit and it's a country where I have never worked and I am very close to it."
