Arsene Wenger suggests that any players he signs before the end of the transfer window would not automatically start in the Arsenal line-up.
The Frenchman has indicated that he still may bring in some new faces before the end of August but has sent a warning that they will have to compete with his current squad to get a regular game.
"That's true, that the new guy who [could] come in will not start [every week]," Wenger told the club's official website. "We might be in the position where we buy a big player and he will not play.
"What is good in our job, it's just about quality. Most of the time, the quality is linked with the price, but not always."
