Arsenal's Watford loanee Park undergoing treatment in Korea

Park Chu-young is in the South Korean capital of Seoul to receive treatment for cellulitis.

The Chosun Ilbo has reported that the Arsenal striker, who is on loan with Watford, has returned home to undergo treatment in hospital for the bacterial infection.

South Korea national team boss Hong Myung-bo confirmed that Park was recovering well but suggested he may look to remain in his homeland in order to get himself fully fit ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

"Park is quickly regaining his form. But it will be difficult for him to go back to England for Watford's final match [of the season on May 3]," Hong said at press meeting on Monday.

"It would be better for Park to comment on whether he will go back to Watford. He will make a decision after discussing the matter with his team."

Since joining the Hornets from Arsenal, former FC Seoul and Monaco forward Park has managed just two appearances for the Championship club.
