Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen is of firm belief that club captain Cesc Fabregas is 100% committed to the cause.
The 23-year old Spanish midfielder was the subject of much transfer speculation involving Barcelona during the summer, inciting his loyalty to been questioned on occasions.
But Vermaelen believes Fabregas is all about Arsenal and insists he is fully focused on gaining success with the London club this season.
"Cesc has shown with every day that, while he was tempted by Barcelona, he is determined to give everything for Arsenal even after they rejected the offer," the Belgian said.
"We have tried to help him recover because we need our captain and he has a big personality. Cesc has Barca in his heart and it's impossible to forget that. But he is a great player and always he's so professional.
"Now he's 100 per cent with Arsenal. You can learn from him. What's happened is in the past. I don't accept he will go next summer because he is happy here and he's so important to us, directing players on the field."
