Robin van Persie admits he is unsure if he will be used as Holland's number one striker at Euro2012.

The Arsenal captain had a brilliant season with 36 goals in all competitions but doesn't know if Bert van Marwijk will deploy him as first striker ahead of Schalke ace Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

"I do not know if I am the No.1 striker," he told OnsOranje. "I really do not know.

"Nobody knows that yet. Van Marwijk will go for a striker who works well with the midfield, but that can also be Klaas.

"In recent years, he has developed very well, but I can develop too. There is always room for improvement."
