Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has indicated he will be fine if Artur Boruc is selected for the Poland number one role.
The Gunners gloveman has had a dip in form recently which has seen him demoted to the bench with fellow Pole Lukasz Fabianski taking his place. It also appears as though Saints keeper Boruc may replace him in the national setup for Friday's World Cup qualifier with Ukraine - a decision he suggests would be the correct one if made by manager Waldemar Fornalik.
"Definitely Artur Boruc (is in better form)," he told Przeglad Sportowy.
"Since February, my situation has changed. I have had a drop in form."
He added: "It is not settled who is first choice.
"It's hard to speak about this, because I do not know if I'll play. I haven't come here as a back-up.
"My goal is simply to try and get a place in the first-team."
