Arsenal midfielder Alex Song has shrugged off his clash with former teammate Emmanuel Adebayor earlier this season.

Manchester City's Togo striker Adebayor chased Cameroon's Song, kicking at his heels, before being substituted in a World Cup qualifier.

"When you contain a player, sometimes he is not happy," Song told the Mail on Sunday. "If I need to do something to make sure he doesn't score, I will do it. Then after the game, we can speak."
