The Czech Republic team has been given a boost in the lead up to Euro2012 with news that captain Tomas Rosicky is expected to be fit.
The Arsenal midfielder has been struggling with a calf injury recently but manager Michal Bilek is confident he will be available for the opener against Russia in Wroclaw on Friday.
"He is a great personality and every other player in our team knows we are much, much stronger with him.
"It may have been his first full training session in some time, but he has been preparing with us all the time. He is feeling good.
"In the Premier League he played a lot of games, so the enforced break did not take away his fitness or form. I am not afraid of that.""His health is alright. I think he will be playing on Friday (against Russia)," said Bilek.
