Arsenal's Ramsey: Hard work has paid off for Tottenham ace Bale

Aaron Ramsey says all the hard work that Gareth Bale has put in has allowed him to become a superstar.

The Arsenal midfielder knows the Tottenham ace well from the Wales national team and says he has turned himself into a quality player simply by putting in the hours on the training pitch.

"As soon as they moved Bale up the pitch, he has been unplayable," he told The Mirror.

"When Bale first started at Tottenham they were struggling to win whenever he played at left-back, but it is unbelievable how quickly things can change in football.

"Those free kicks he produced against Lyon (in the Europa League) on Thursday - I've seen how he does it when we stay behind after training with Wales.

"He stays behind and practises them and it has paid off for him."
