It has been revealed to Sky Sports that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will start for England today.
The Three Lions take on France in Donetsk in their Euro2012 opener and Roy Hodgson has reportedly opted to start the Arsenal young gun in front of Liverpool's Stewart Downing as a left winger.
Hodgson is expected to go with Joe Hart in goals behind a back four of Ashley Cole, Joleon Lescott, John Terry and Glen Johnson with captain Steven Gerrard and Scott Parker playing central midfield.
Other decisions that need to be made include who plays on the right side of midfield with either James Milner of Theo Walcott in the mix and the striker who will play in front of Ashley Young who will either be Danny Welbeck or Andy Carroll.
