Reports suggest that Sunderland could go after Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster if Arsenal are successful in their pursuit of Simon Mignolet.
The Gunners are believed to be heavily interested in the Belgian gloveman who has become the undisputed number one at the Stadium of Light and if he does happen to head to the Emirates Stadium, the Black Cats will target Forster.
The former Newcastle United keeper has been a star for the last few years with Celtic but may look to return to the Premier League to enhance his chances of pushing for an England World Cup spot.
