Kieran Gibbs has lavished praise on fellow Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal.
The pair are jostling for a starting berth at left-back under Arsene Wenger but that does not mean England international Gibbs cannot speak highly of his Spanish counterpart.
"He's a great guy and he's been playing really well," Gibbs told Arsenal Player.
"He's adapted brilliantly to playing centre-back and left-back. It doesn't sound it but its two completely different roles. When called upon he has done that really well."
This season, Gibbs has played 20 times in the Premier League for a total of 29 outings while Monreal has 31 appearances to his name including 22 in the league.
