Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has undergone surgery on his knee.
The 21-year old, who spent the second half of the season on loan with Fulham, sustained the injury in the final match of the campaign against Swansea City last weekend.
He had an operation on Wednesday and will spend the next two months recovering.
"We wish Manny the best of luck in his recovery," read the club's official website.
