Aston Villa's Martin O'Neill has praised the match-winning cameo from Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas. The Spanish midfielder came on in the 58th minute when the score was 0-0 and produced two brilliant goals before going off with six minutes remaining under injury precaution when the three points were almost secure.
O'Neill said the Gunners captain was the difference and was full of praise for his performance.
"We were right in it until the free-kick, and Fabregas' contribution was immense," said O'Neill.
"He has had a major impact and changed the game for Arsenal completely, it was a very fine performance by a substitute."
