Arsenal's Fabregas understands all great teams have to be beaten to triumph in Europe

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas says is not too worried about the fact his side is up against reigning European champions Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Fabregas is aware that all the good teams have to be conquered in order to hold aloft the European trophy and said the fact the Gunners were taking on Barcelona now was no different to if they were playing any other team.

"If you want to win this competition, you have to beat everyone who is coming," said Fabregas.

"If we had been drawn against Bordeaux or Lyon we would have taken it the same way.

"Barcelona is a great team, but we always go with the same mentality and that is to win.

"We are going to play against the best team in Europe, probably in the world.

"The boys are really looking forward to it as it is another opportunity to play against a great team in a great stadium. It will be very exciting."
