Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas knows that the first time he sets foot on Barcelona's Nou Camp for a competitive match could be a torrid affair. The 23-year old Spanish midfielder has never played on the hallowed turf of Catalonia at senior level but will get his chance when the Gunners saddle up in the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.
"I hope that I will get to play at the Nou Camp," he said after Arsenal came from behind to defeat Barcelona 2-1 on Wednesday night. "It's a special dream to play there and of course I will enjoy it, but the important thing is that Arsenal go through.
"It's very difficult. We know we're going to have to defend very well because they'll want to win and they'll want to attack.
"You never know what can happen in this kind of games, but definitely we'll have to play our hearts out like we did at the Emirates. But the weight only comes off your shoulders after both games, not just one. We are happy because it's not every team who can beat the best team in history.
"It's not finished by any means. We know we have to go to a very tough stadium and it will be very difficult. I wouldn't know to give you a percentage but it will be difficult.
"I have a good feeling if everyone stays fit and there are no injuries like there were last year and I think this is fundamental.
"There's still 90 minutes to play. We're playing against a big team, this is not a just a word. Big, big words mean a big team and we will have to give our best and defend very well over there."
The return leg will take place on Tuesday, March 8 with Arsenal holding a slender lead.
