Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk are on the verge of signing Eduardo from Arsenal for around £6million.
The Brazilian-born Croatia international is on his way out at Emirates Stadium and the lure of Champions League football with Shakhtar and a reported £50,00 a week pay packet may be too good to turn down.
Eduardo has fallen out of favour at Arsenal who now have strong attacking options, indicating that manager Arsene Wenger would be prepared to sell the 27-year old.
