Arsenal midfielder Denilson is expected to be sidelined for up to two months after suffering a small fracture in his back.
The 21-year old Brazilian is set to miss a big chunk of the next part of the Gunners season which includes a home Champions League clash against Olympiakos (Tuesday night), plus league clashes with Blackburn, Birmingham, West Ham and Tottenham.
Denilson sustained the injury in the loss to Manchester City in mid-September and recent scans have revealed the real problem.
"Denilson has a small fracture in his back," confirmed manager Arsenal Wenger. "He will be out for two months."
